Hey guys. Yesterday, I got 10 clicks on advertisements on my proxy (schoolhelper.info) However, I only got $1.60. I have used the ad filter to block out a bunch of MFA sites, and my earnings still suck. Please help me out.
Earnings per click really depend on your niche. 0.16 per click, while not a lot, is still better than many low-performing niches.
Actually, I'm brand new in the proxy niche. Since opening my proxies about a week ago, I've gotten 17 clicks, and $3.31 (I have served 6,940 impressions)
Hey Guthix, it's not really a problem of the MFA sites. In fact filtering them out won't solve your problem. Google always displays the most related advertisements and if the MFA sites are the most relevant ones then Google will display them. Removing the related ads will get you general Ads and general ads are the main reason for getting smart priced.. So don't filter them out. Low pricing Ads depend on the Return of Investment for the advertiser. If the ROI is very low then the advertisers won't pay a lot whereas when we are talking about real estate for example the advertisers can potentially earn a lot. 16 cent per click in the proxy niche is absolutely normal and really, I was earning a lot less when I had some proxy sites. Hope to have helped, Hendrik
$1.60 for 10 clicks, is not bad at all, buddy, i've known people getting barely anything , so its still good.
.16cents a click is fair. You may be suffering from a little greediness. Instead of worrying about the click worth you should be trying to bring to traffic and clicks higher. On one of my sites I have gotten $5.96 today on 84 clicks. That's .07 cents a click.
I set up a guitar chords site too but so far have made nothing but it does need a lot of work, a lot more content What do you do on your music site?
Oh i'm not complaining i wasn't actually expecting to make any money at all, $1.15 came from one click two days ago which i taught was weird
Alright thanks guys. I guess proxy ad money comes more with quantity > quality of clicks. Thanks for the clarification on average proxy ad clicks.
Revenue per click is not the most important figure, but rather eCPM. (see google reports) https://www.google.com/adsense/supp...&sourceid=aso&subid=ww-ww-et-asui&medium=link It wouldn't help much to get 100$ per click but clicked once in a lifetime... But that's interesting anyway...... In the past 2 months I had (many many :=) thousands of clicks in my websites. Each has a different niche and some are not in english. I arrived at 0.122$ per click. Another interesting thing I took a look now at, is the distribution among different adsense channels. My worst paying channel had 0.07$ per click, my best channel: 0.329$. So I have agree with all the previous comments
Good point having better content would keep people interest in our pages for longer thus increasing the chances of a click, right?
