Hi there, I run concrete-canvas.com, a website devoted to street art. Just wondering, does anyone have any ideas of some of the best ways it could be monetised? I need an income stream from it, and also money from it to fund competitions, bloggers, new ventures, etc. I'm currently planning to get it redesigned, but before this, I thought it would be best to consider this aspect. So... Any ideas anyone?
You have some of the best ideas from Solikatir. Ad sense and Join venture are areas you should look at. Cheers, John
I have good experience with ADSDAQ. They are CPM and is very good for my forum. I also use Burst which is pretty good.
I would go with click bank and adsense but at the same time look to promote and get advertisers on the site. this will bring in steady income but not a lot to start.
It has a pretty remeberably URL so that is a bonus for repeat visitors. As mentioned above, you could use affiliates or PPV. I recommend you use PPV rather than PPA as you will probably receive a lot of views from art students, but at the same time PPA could be good if your students are artists themselves and order supplies online. Just experiment.
There are not enough "best" ways to equal 10. Maybe 2 ways. The very best way is to go to sites similar as your own (or not so similar), and contact their advertisers. Click on their ads to go to their sites so you can send them an e-mail. Also, don't forget about search engine advertisers. Adowrds, MSN, Yahoo.... Many of these advertisers are looking for more sites to advertise in. And all you need are what, maybe, say, a half a dozen advertisers? You'll have them lined up in no time, and with less work involved.
you should think about to increase traffic. With the help of unique content you can achieve which you want. In advertising network, google adsense is better option because many reputed firms using adsense.
