$10 48 hours logo contest for a band!

So, we could use a Logo for our band.

The band name is 'A Day in Orange'

The meaning behind the name, is based off of the symbolism for the color orange:

Orange symbolizes: vitality with endurance

Put some orange in your life when you want:
to spice things up when you feel time is dragging
to become more involved in something
to increase creativity
relief from things becoming too serious

Plus if you consider what yellow and green mean (which make orange) it opens up so much more, but this is just the basic run-down

Basically were an indie rock band that gives strong emphasis to sincerity, emotion, empathy, apathy and integrity in our music.

Thanks for the entry. It is nice, especially since in a sense it looks like a speaker, however, I should have mentioned that we are trying to stay away from anything that goes with the Orange fruit. The basis of the term Orange was derived from the meaning of the color and not the fruit. Although, I do like, where I didn't think I would with the whole Orange fruit feel.

I do like that, however, it somehow reminds me of the Harley Davidson logo.

Just an idea, if someone wants to whip something up that has 'A Day In' vertically stacked inside the letter O of Orange (which would run horizontally) with something else to it, I think that may be nifty. So it would be like:

Maybe? I dunno, but keep the ideas coming, I'm liking what I'm seeing!

Hi, thanks for the contest. Here are a couple of designs that I have come up with, hope you and the band like them, cheers...

 

I like these both! My only concern in the slanted text in the O, but I realize that the O itself, is slanted.

 

Could you possibly change the arrows to the colors yellow and green and maybe change the font of 'A Day in'? I really like 'Orange' though.

 

Plain, simple... I like Have anything else to add maybe to spice it up a little, just so I can see it with some different things?

 

Actually we are going to use 'ADiO' (with a small 'i') for our name too sometimes. Not sure about the police shield type logo though, and the font seems a little to plain.

 

Not bad at all... nothing to really suggest. Have any more ideas?
