10,036 page impression, 110 clicks & earnings only $3.17 with 1.10% CTR.

how's that? please advice how to increase my earnings??

How are you generating that income? Adsense? Maybe you could look at affiliate programs.

The problem is not in the software niche. IMHO

Where is your traffic coming from?

 

traffic is coming from US, UK but 80% from China and thats because I redirected all my proxy site's traffic to my site to gain some alexa rankings.

Do I need to stop the traffic from China?

 

Those traffic from Asia/Africa does not generate high earning per click. But then, if you stop traffic flow from China, your website will suffer a drop in traffic, since that does not mean traffic from US,UK will pick up.

Hi, great site and the adsense placement is well constructed, the only reason would be because of the lack in quality of the traffic. Also proxy traffic doesn't really converts rite? Unless your doing for another proxy and I think Google should have known where your traffic source comes from hence the low payout,

Asian traffic will not help you much. You need to cover more good keywords.

 

Free doesn't always pay well. I don't think that's the problem though it sounds more like traffic as other suggested.

Try to generate USA traffic without stopping the asian once, and you told traffic is converted from proxy that may be the reason of the low pay.. as everybody told asian traffic really pays less. One of my site gets many visitors from India but earns less..

 

Thanks for your tips. I am not stopping the asian traffic atm as i need some visitors to gain some alexa rank and to index pages in google etc. I'll try to get more visitors from US, UK etc. by adding more stuff daily.

You can't say Asian traffic is not much paying. I have so many sites and all are asian based traffic and they pay well

 

$3.17/110clicks=$0.02881. You get less than 3 cents per click. I think it's because of the smartpricing. It could be bacause of the asian traffic or your web page is not optimized for the keyword you're targeting. Testing and tweaking will give you the answer as to what cause it. For example you can optimize your web so its more relevant to the keyword you're targeting and improve your ctr so it become more valueable to google adsense.
