    If you are getting 10,000 visitors per day for some keywords people buy ad slots by bidding and place ads on the site. Bidding can be 0.10cents to $2 or more.
    So everyday it fluctuates. Everyday there won't be the same $amount bidding and you don't earn same.
    Calculation for 10000 visitors may be 35 or 40 clicks can make you according to bidding rate i.e., 0.10 to $2 or more.

    Well, I don't get 10K unique per day but I do get 60K per month on one of my sites and I typically make around $500/M
    $500 divided by 6 = $83 based on a .16cents a click pending you have optimized your adsense and your traffic is not stupid.

    This is a pretty standard figure. Anyone who says. NO, you will make $400 a day is a douche, because realistically adsense pays .09 to .23 cents a click.

    Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. That conversion is horrid. One of these days you should talk to someone like me and work out a dael to get your adsense optimized and find the problem there. You could probably X that by 6 overnight with some 5 minutes changes.

    Well its not all about the traffic i would say, think about you, your self on a site what makes you click the ads?

    Interesting topics/content display interesting ads, the correct placements where it will be easily seen by people etc...
