In the PM you said 24 hours but from reading this thread you say when you get enough money for the server.?

 

Yes the server is paid for (About 30 minutes ago) but it's taking up to 24 hours to be set up at the datacenter. To move the site once the server is ready is about 5 minutes work to make it live again. We're just waiting for initial setup, nameserver propagation. Your links will be live the second we are.

The server was prepaid from my host this morning and ordered this morning due to the urgency of the move. He paid in advance and I had to pay him.

So hopefully by tomorrow morning (Being a sunday here and where our datacenter is) We will be live. I'm hoping sometime tomorrow morning.

Our visitors know we are moving to a dedicated system.

If It was already configured your links would be live already.
Being a Sunday and mother's day in North America I believe my datacenter may not have as much staff today.

Please be patient. The site will be live as fast as I can get it live again.

Thanks for being patient. We had no choice but to upgrade. We were unable to handle the vast amount of traffic on the setup we had. It was absolutely necessary and urgent. But then again this is good news for the new customers!

So... When will my visitors start?

 

They'll be starting today as soon as We go back live Dave. As soon as I get the server details by mail from my datacenter it will take me all of 5 minutes to register the nameservers at dynadot.com and then another 5 to switch my ns on the domain and another 5 to make the site live. As soon as the server is set up, I will have the site live in 15 minutes. Propagation shouldn't take too long at all since Dynadot.com is pretty quick with resolving ns and domains.
We did a bunch of promotional things while we were down too and the traffic hasn't slowed. It's just being temporary redirected.

The ads will go live today at some point.

I had a list right here of all the ads to go live as soon as we are however I thought about it and perhaps DP members would not like their link spidered by google to this thread so I've removed the list of ads for now. I've got all orders ready to go in notepad.

If there was a way to have the old site running until the new server resolved without screwing up the database I would but it's near impossible to do without damaging the database and that would be bad in the long run. Plus the server is ready today anyhows.

I've already answered that question multiple times in the thread cykill. As soon as the server / site goes back live today it will all be instated. I'm simply waiting for the email from the datacenter where it was ordered yesterday saying it's ready to go so I can ssh configure the server and put the website live. Your links will all be live sometime over the day. If it hasn't resolved for you by the end of the day pm me and I'll provide the IP address for you to update your hosts file (The ip will come to me in the email) . All datacenters have a 12 - 24 hour setup routine. I cannot speed this up any faster as it's already marked urgent by my provider due to the nature / urgency of the move.

We get the servers from burst.net so however long it takes burst.net to setup a CentOs5 server is how long it will take.
The order was completed yesterday but it was a weekend so it should be today sometime soon!

 

Hello everyone,
TrafficSales, did order a server from us, & as we resell for Burst, we ordered it from them. Now, BurstNET does not have a guarantee for setup time, but normally it is setup within 24 hours, if marked urgent, which I did.

Also, it was a Sunday, & Burst handle lesser amount of setups on a Sunday, so I contacted them about an ETA on this server's setup time. They say they do not guarantee, but from my experience, I would say that it will be setup within the coming 24 hours.

I hope no one thinks that TrafficSales is stealing their money/running away, if he does I would refund everyone, you have my word for it

I've never run away. I aim to please as you can tell from all my prior threads / Itrader . This server is indeed ordered. I'm working on bringing us back online as fast as I can because my income depends on this too!
I'm being as patient as I can too. That's ALOT of traffic I'm currently redirecting until I can come back live.
Ishan can vouch for the load it put on the previous system.

Redirecting the traffic, why not redirect it to your customers?
