10.000 uniques and $3400, where do I sit on the the Adsense ladder?

That's excellent earning from Adsense, which keywords are you using for your site, because I have also football site (ehm..blog) and I get around $0.10 per click Although it's stupid for me thinking about keywords because i write what I should write not, there's no option for me.

Um, this is a late reply, sorry, but...

It doesn't have to be "loud", the ads I mean. Most CPM networks give you the ability to choose/approve which ads show up on your site. Most even gives you the ability to wholesale forbid ads that move, has sound, blinks, etc. I can't stand those damn audio ads myself, so I ban them completely.

well just have been in googel adsence and have earned small less then a $$ for my first day.
But I hope this earning increases in near future as i would be making more and more sites.

yeah I doubt so. Football (soccer) keyword is not competitive. I doubt he could get that much.

 

Well, footballboy told me to get listed on footyrefugees.itopsites.com (few months ago). Today I checked each of the website which listen in there. But none of them is his website. How can I know? easy. Last month he said his soccer site is ranked 110,000th in alexa. To be honest, no website which listed in footyrefugees, is ranked 110,000th in alexa. Only one: aculturedleftfoot.wordpress.com but this blog didn't use adsense and footballboy said his website is not a blog.

So is he lying? Hmm...I don't know. Impossible to get such an amount of money only from a soccer website, the CPC is very low. I have accessed adwords to know about this. Even Goal.com removed their adsense ads a while ago maybe bcause they realized the ads are not relevant and displays only the same URL (because it's very not competitive).

From my experience you can easily go to 250-300month, after that it´s harder.

Basically the more you earn the more difficult is to earn more. To make more than 200$/month i imagine it will take a HUGE amount of work (and maybe luck)

 

yeah and you need a very competitive keyword. But a soccer website? Very difficult.
