This is the quote I got on the price of this domain. I mean the domain is good but I dont think its THAT good. Only the .com and .net are registered. My question is, if you had the money and could use the domain, would you buy it? Im going to either buy this domain or settle for a different one.
I wouldn't pay $5 for that, let alone $10,000 . How in the world does someone arrive at a number like that for that domain name? (unless that was the name of my company or something...)
The seller is set on it being a super premium domain which is why the price is so high. It is a very good domain and I would love it for my new company. Im guessing it just wouldnt be worth the price.
That's how much his family trip to DisneyLand will cost. If I were you, I would look for another domain. I have a feeling trustability.com will probably still be for sale should you decide otherwise.
it is owned by BuyDomains they negotiate. couple tips ive heard from various places and personal experience buying from them: 1. whatever they quote the are absolutely willing to go 20% cheaper instantly. 2. they go lower towards end of month as they need to meet sales quotas 3. if you can pay instantly, mention it asking for a lower price (within a couple days) 4. if you want the domain, buy it first time, they raise prices every time someone tries to buy a domain, more interest==higher price
I think the seller might be "high" on something else Personally, I wouldn't even pay reg fee for this name. What could this name be developed into? Limited development potential IMO.
That is highly possible. I have something big I could develop this into which is why I am willing to pay thousands for it. Not any more than $5000 though.
I can't see how its worth it. 10,000$ ? You could buy a domain for 2000$ and spend 8k marketing it! Even at $5k I think you're being extremely extremely genourous as to its value.
Offer him $3000.00 as your top offer for the name then. Ask him to supply some traffic details to justify you spending a dime more. If it's got some traffic, throw him a bone of an extra $1k. I've negotiated a few purchases this way. They think the name is the best thing since sliced bread. But when you start talking about traffic, they start to question their own valuation model. Your cost to brand a domain is a factor as well. Instead of plopping down $20K for that domain, you could pickup something brandable for $2k and spend $8k in advertising. Google Trends has no data for trustability and no data for Adwords Traffic Estimator. I'd venture to say the domain has no type in traffic. What's their justification for the price? Good luck with your venture. Hopefully you can negotiate to get the name you want for a reasonable price.
This is BuyDomains not your average seller, their whole model is selling a few names from their VAST portfolio for very solid prices. It's all a numbers game to them and as far as traffic stats... good luck, these guys aren't selling for traffic and know exactly what it is worth. They probably have largest amount of sales data after maybe sedo on domain sales and pricing.
That domain dont worth more than $10 ,the seller ask this sum, but its not mean that it worth it!Created: 2003-07-21 Expires: 2008-07-21 no page rank no alexa and no backlinks! I purchased an expired domain from 2003 with PR5 with 3200 backlinks for just $40 and another good domain from 1999 also for $40
This is not for the traffic, backlinks, PR or any of that junk. It is for a brandable domain for my new company. Im just going to let this go and use another domain. Im too lazy to negotiate with these guys.
