haven't seen it yet but I hear its pretty good. These days I hardly watch an epic based on BC events unless its R...basically because you cannot have some material in the film that would put the awesome back into it.
Most of the reviews that I have read for the movie say that it is really silly and there are parts where the audience laughs at the movie. I will say that the girl is really hot in the trailers
I thought it was pretty bad. It looked awesome in the previews, but the actual movie was not good at all. I actually fell asleep during it for a little while.
I work for a own a few movie sites, and was lucky enough to see it on Tuesday, and i DID NOT think it was any good.... The plot is used in many movies... and frankly it gets old... If anybody would like to see my full review just pm me..
THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS I saw it last night, and I was quite disappointed. The movie starts off quite well and has an amazing setting, but then it basically turns into a spinoff of the story of moses. As soon as they get to eqypt (or wherever it was), the movie turns into a "set the slaves free, take down the tyrant" movie. However I will say the special effects were amazing. The sabertooth tiger you could tell was CGI unfortunately, but everything else look really cool. The mammoths looked very real, they were my favorite part of the whole movie. I would give the movie a 5/10. And even then it's getting more credit than it deserves. The chick was very hot, the animations were awesome, and the set designs were fantastic. The acting, fighting, and storyline in general was a joke. However I could see it taking home several awards for design, costumes, and cinematography.
