$10,000 a day from Google Base

Sorry Guys,

It has to be the longest winded load of bollox I've read in a while.
Base just doesn't have the reach yet, no matter what FF payouts are.

It's simple common sense regardless of the argument.

I expect it's starting to pick up tho

Virtually nobody knows about the existence of Google Base. The only people who do know about it are the more internet savvy users such as we. And I really doubt many of us are going to signup with services like Adultfriendfinder.

To generate 200 paid signups a day you will need a huge amount of visitors. If one per 50 visitors converts to a paid member then you will need at least 10,000 visitors a day, possibly even much more.

I just can't believe that's possible with Google Base. Maybe it's possible to earn a small three digit figure per day by spamming Google Base but $10,000 a day is hard to believe.

 

Theres no money in it. We have thousands of profiles up and there's one sale.

friendfinder, clickcash, adultaction. etc. there no traffic it. 8000+ profiles and a couple hundred clicks.

Unless Im missing something. We have the resources to get 10k profiles up a day. If something wants to help $, just pm me.

I think this cow has been milked and is done (as previously mentioned) I recommend not wasting time on it. Its something that came and went.

There are still many ways to make money out there... I will write about them as they die off =P

 

Maybe you could PM me when they are starting. I think that would be a lot more benificial to me.

Shoemoney was lied to... if you ask why? Please recall the time you exaggerated about something you've done, or a lie you've thought up of a while back... Pride? to gain confidence? Show-off? There are hundreds of reasons.

Use your logic. Google Base came out about 1 month ago, (correct me if im wrong) maybe even less... There are people that don't know about Google Earth yet let alone Google Base, which doesn't even have an explanation for anything in the front page. I'm an experienced web developer and i still couldn't tell what google base was for and why i should use it.

I doubt there is even close to 1000 people a week surfing that website... It's impossible. IF someone made 10,000$... there would be many more that made that or close.

 

Just my 2 cents.. I have been using Base for something a little different (not pron) for over 3 weeks and I have been able to generate about 1000 uniques from it. I also pretty much dominate the subject and it's a popular subject.

So, I'm not saying you can't use Base to your advantage yet but there are people using it. I'm not sure who they are, where they heard about it or what this means but I thought I'd throw it out there...

I think that there's a lot of potential and opportunity there with Base.

Especially right now that it's in its infancy. Too often, many of us look back in hindsight at opportunities that we missed (eg. buying stock in Yahoo in '96 or Google in '04).

I have a feeling that Google Base is going to eventually get big and it would be a good idea to get involved in any money making opportunities at the ground floor, when it's just taking off...before those ideas gets exploited.

Unfortunately, this Pr0n Friend Finder Affiliate opportunity has come and gone, but as Big Deal points out, there are other avenues. It's pretty cool to brainstorm ideas on what use one can make out of this service. Google Base is much like Craigslist, but without so many restrictions to what you are allowed to post.

This concept is foreign to me, I guess. I've never exaggerated how much I make. If you make $20/day from Adsense and tell people you make $1000/day...well, wouldn't you feel kind of foolish telling people that? I wouldn't feel pride or confident...I would feel like a retard.

 

No doubt... its good to get as much content in right now as you can. Especially that does not expire. Link rich articles are good too

 

I really doubt it will get big, if anything video.google.com will get big. (it's useful), i see no uses for base, except for posting about blogs, and affiliates, im still confused on what it does really... And what is the advantage of using it.

Remember the #1 rule: IF it's too good to be true, then it's probably not true.

There are many that would disagree with this statement, as many people lie about many things to impress people, to gain self-esteem, to show off, to get a big reaction. Psychologically that's what this case seems like.
1) No proof.
2) No one else has done such a thing
3) Doesn't make logical sense.

 

Well i think...potentially...google base combined with google wallet equals ebay...except a free version...

Well, Base is in beta mode, but from what I gather, it's a real-time searchable database for people to submit information to. Unlike Craigslist, where all posts are set to delete after a given time, the posts get archived (accept for those posts like "events" which are preset to delete at a given time). What makes it seem trivial and useless is all the affiliate spam that's in there right now. So currently, doing a search in Base is like doing a search for spam.

I think now it's just a matter of Google finding a way to eliminate that affiliate spam. For example, deny posting of any sites that have the words friendfinder in the url (not sure how they would handle redirects though).

I think Google is smart enough to listen to the feedback they get and they have the intelligent programmers to do it. Otherwise, maybe you're right...they realize it's not worth the hassle, cut their losses, and take the thing down. I don't think that'll happen though. They'll probably just make it more intuitive so nobody asks the question "What's it for?".

how do i add stuff to google base that will not expire? I'm in real estate and i noticed that number1expert.com only shows up in my area.. looks like they have some type of connection with google.. i would like to place my real estate profile on base without a 31 day expiration.. any ideas?

 

you can xport xml feeds on a weekly basis that is what most people that have realestate and stuff like that do.
