Would like everyone's 2cents on this, is this a good idea. Running a new network, and always with a new network, affiliates are concerned if they will get paid or if its a scam network.. If i give people $10.00 for just joining, or even 5 dollars for joining like check mailed out that day. Would this put peoples mind at ease a little more or am i just asking for a bunch of signups with no leads? Well, either way i just want to know if its a good idea.
No, not $10.00 to your account either, like 10 or 5 dollars check, or paypal or direct deposit. That way people KNOW they get paid.
I think you should be careful when it comes to this. If you're looking for quality affiliates, they wont be joining your network for the $10. I feel like you will be giving the $10 incentives to a TON of lower quality affiliates, and it'll end up hurting you more than helping you at the end of the day. But at the same time, that's just my speculation, it may work well for you as well, depending on the type of affiliate network you'll be starting and your particular goals. Best of luck!
Hmm... thankyou i really do appreciate the feedback, i know it would attract alot of lower-level affiliates, but currently running freebie offers... like email/zip submit. New affiliates can be trained, but fraud is my big issue rite now with new affiliates. If ther is any new guys out there that want to get into a cpa network with a $10.00 signup bonus, just let me know... Maybe i should send the $10.00 after the first lead. That way i understand they at least know the basics, like ppc, or article marketing, or hell facebook. Anyways anyone wanting to join just let me know and i'll reserve you a spot.
Also something to think about when it comes to making $10.00 payments to put people's mind at ease- just because a network pays once is no guarantee that they will keep paying, so that may not help you all that much in terms of proving that you will be a long-term good paying network. It is a nice gesture on your part, but a lot of new affiliates would join simply to get it and waste your cash, never running another campaign, and the good affiliates you are trying to attract will come in time in any event. Just my opinion, but reserve your cash for your proven affiliates who have earned it. Good luck!
Totally agree. The only affiliates who will sign up to make a quick $10 are the total newbies and the fraudsters. You wont get any quality affiliates on board offering a few bucks up front.
Giving something like $10 up front is something that you'd see more in a GPT type site. What quality affiliates may be looking for is a high referral commission, or a rewards program (which can even be a percentage of cash back from total monthly earnings). This will attract more legitimate affiliates, rather than just freeloaders.
I am new here and looking for opportunity to not only earn money but also learn from you all and improve myself as well. Its true there are fraudsters which can be prevented. And i think sign up bonus is not required for beginners as for them getting place in any affiliate network which has good converting offers itself is lucky. and i thank people who give opportunity for new people to grow further...
