1 word .name....should I bother?

I found a great 1 word .name that's available, it's a very common word...should I bother getting the .name, or would that just be completely worthless and something I'd want to sell before the 1 year is up?

 

i think it's worthless. i don't have a great opinion about 4 letter extensions.

It depends what you are going to do. For SEO, it worth; for returned surfers, it doesnot worth.

 

Unless it's an abosolute premium keyword, it probably isn't worth getting.

dot com is the holy grail! although i do have some of the other extensions but I have never bought a dot name

 

I found decent names avalaible for .name but i don't bother since i they don't have any value right now.
