    Rarest.us - I'd say in the Mid $xx range.

    Finalist.us - I'd say around the same price.

    i am not sure about the .us values but i prefer finalist.us out of the two domains

    so checked the other extensions...about 25 finalist.<tld> are registered, but for rarest. <tld> is around half of it

    my preference seems to be good :)

    Finalist.us definitely sounds like a better name. Why not try to develop some sort of site around it and possibly increase the value for it? Perhaps make some ad sense money.
