1-way links from PR 1 site

According to most SEO advice 2 good "highly targeted - high PR" links are worth 50 crap untargeted ones

 

On the poll, you said you would buy a link for 5 cents. Am I to understand that 5 cents are low enough to worth buying even from PR 1 site? If "Yes", it's really encouraging for me.

 

if a page rank 8 website has 100 outgoing links,
and a page rank 4 website has 5 outgoing links, then it's better to have a link back from a pr 4 website.
that's the way the algorithm of calculating pr works.

Ahh, but you forgot one important thing! Each raise in PR is rumored to be exponential. That means PR 2 is 10 times as hard to get as PR 1, etc all the way to PR10. That means that the PR 4 link would be worth 1000 link juice / 5 outgoing links = '200 link juice'. The PR 8 link would be worth 100,000,000 link juice / 100 outgoing links = '100000 link juice'.

Of course, this is all theoretical. Only the big G knows anything about PR.

 

PR is a worthless metric. if its relevant and might deliver traffic spend 5 cents.

 

A PR 1 page also has the potential to grow to high PR However, it depends on the price.
