Do not include any more than 10 keywords per ad group. Keep your ad copy as closely related to the keywords as possible.

If you can write an ad for selections of 5 keywords, even better! :)

So if i have 21 hardly targeted keywords...should i split them in 2 adds?
As i have it all on 1 add, all of them are from 1 to 9% CTR in a long run
    thanks

Keep it small to start, test each keyword fully, then add more later.

If you dump 1,000 in at once, they pretty much red flag your account and give you a crappy quality score from the get go.

The more targeted your keywords are to your ads and then to your site, the better.

If you're in position 3 and are getting the desired ROI, then yes that's a good spot to be in.

As mentioned, if your ROI is good at that position, that's a good thing. But keep on improving your ads. And it likely would be worth it to increase bids and see what happens in the first and second positions. I would do that only if your QS is at least seven however. It usually doesn't take a much higher bid to jump a few positions and the actual CPC often is only slightly higher to get higher click and conversion rates which increases your ROI.

I think should 3-4 keywords shopuld be very much main and very much closer to the topic and thus the ads. But also keep in mind for few other keyword of less relevant, less important also. It has some significance too.

Man, I have a lot to learn... I think. I have developed about 500 words that make sense for my consumer product. I have about 20 ads that pretty much cover the lot, so I have about 20 ad groups. The words are pretty much segmented by anticipated search volume, so there are certainly some dog ad groups.

I have always thought that "Shucks, I ain't getting charged unless they click", so even if an ad group is only garnering a few clicks a week, those are a few clicks I would have missed.

I tend to be in the number 3 or 4 position when any of the ads display, but can seem to get a quality score much higher than 7. AM I being penalized for all those words?
