    Hi,

I have been reading some books about website optimization.... It talks a bout page relevance and page importance and how to realise that..

What I have noticed is that according to all these theories, it should be the best to just have 1 theme, or one category on wich to base the COMPLETE site.... Is this correct ?? I mean lets say that you want to make a website about Alcoholic drinks....

Then in my opinion there should be categories for

    1 wine
    2 beer
    3 strong liquer
    4 etc
    5 etc.

My questions are ofcourse... is it better then to have multiple sites for each category ? Or is it ok to make a site with ALL these categories ?? Or will having multiple categories downgrade the optimisation work I will do (with keywords and links ) on them ?? It's a bit unclear all of this. ..

    Thanks for any info ...

I don´t think that you need different websites just for a few topics, however if you are planning on expanding the sites it would be better to have them on different URL´s and then interlink the sites since they are related...

So if you are only gonna have a few extra pages with all those topics dont bother to register extra domain...
