Yo spyxx I hear ya and ill raise you by 4. Total orders for april 1st was 38. Looks like april is shaping up to be a great month. For all the haters that think you can make money with amazon, cut the crap, find a niche and dominate it. Congrats dude and good luck for the rest of the month. Peace.
aw you beat me by four ... dang haha congrats for you too bro... Yeah april starts really well,, Maybe they are fooled somehow by amazon to buy buy buy and buy lol to prosperity for all of us...
Congratulations on your success spyxx, it's nice to wake up and see the love and money that Amazon has bestowed upon us, lol. I had a good April 1st also, 66 items ordered. Was a bunch of small stuff, but it does make it easy to move into the next commission bracket Its good to hear about people having success every now and then with Amazon, definitely good stuff. Ha small amounts, well Pure, i bet it was not as small as the 114 items I sold last thursday, frikin stoked when i first logged in to see there was an order for 100 products, then when reviewing orders they were all $.01c each dang why do amazon let people sell for those prices, they get no commission so what gives..
Hey pure, how is the ezystore thing going? Moving some momentum, have you set up an affiliate program yet mate?
The E4E stores are going great. It's been lots and lots of fun. I've been working with all sorts of associates, some just learning, and others who bring a lot of experience with them. I'm just about to release an upgrade for version 2, and we're about to put out some features that are sure to make our clients smile, and our competition cry, lol. Theres no question that 2008 is the year of the Amazon Associate and what I'd like to call 3rd party e-commerce engines. It's changing the whole e-commerce game. I'm just happy to be one of the developers in the forefront of this movement. Happy Selling!, PuReWebDev
Ok, it looks like April is really starting to shape up to be a good month already, I just had an $87.68 one day commission: I'm trying to remember if I've had another higher Amazon single day record or if this is it. It's not alot of money, but when done properly Amazon can be very rewarding. I hope other associates out there are inspired to keep working hard even if you don't have an instant success the first time around. Just keep going, because it does pay, the image above is just one day of Amazon pay. Happy Selling!, PuReWebDev
congrats Pure likewise somedays are very profitable, I believe its all about rinse and repeat, finding the niche and multiplying. I mean not just set and forget there is much work involved and I still believe content is key to traffic (especially longtail). I would be interested in viewing v2 and what it has to offer over v1. Hit me up for some details if possible before you release it. Amazon will be big for me this year, a major earner for me and I look for new and interesting methods of product promotion each day. Amazon is just so large and trusted it is a perfect network to partner with bringing many sellers together in one easy affiliate program. Sure if your small time commissions can be minimal but most of the time you can be happy with 8.5%. Cheers mate. Ajay,
damn I'm jealous. I made $117 for all of March. So far for April I've made $3 in the first 4 days :-(
Hey Spyxx, got another record breaker, 55 products ordered on todays stats (so for yesterdays orders). April is going to be great. How are you doing?
Hey congrats, I have a question for everyone here. What is considered a 'really' good day? And does amazon offer the same commission to every sale? I almost can't believe it that you make less than 5%? This is my first time in this part of the forum (amazon), am at a loss to how small the commission is... I offer 75% on my products lol, and on clickbank/paydotcom/cj etc. - you can expect $1000 days for the same amount of work - if you you made $2000 in sales, most vendors give you $1500 (75%), why is everyone so cheery on $87 out of $2000? I'm TOTALLY not trying to steal the thread or be an ass, I am quite serious actually, how many amazon streams and how much traffic/sales would you really have to get in order to make a living off amazon commission? Possible? Just seems like you guys all have the same powers and knowledge base as the CB'ers, PDC'ers, azooglers etc. - and not to down amazon, they offer what they can, but realisticaly I still can't believe nor would I endorse an aff program that offers under 5% (unless perhaps we're talking about real estate of 100K deals...). Please enlighten me, this makes me curious how many potential super affiliates are among you and you don't even know that you may be one - if you convert that well with your unique traffic on amazon, some of you could be quite dangerous in other environments... NC.
Very interesting story! I have wanted to try this method but heard neg things? A second look sounds in order!
You have to understand that selling things on CB or PDC you generally are selling an information or software product. These items do not involve any physical product, packaging, shipping fees etc so you can scale your commissions up to like you say 75%. With Amazon you have the option to use the sliding scale commisison structure right up to 8.5% which is what I currently am on. It depends on how many products you sell in a month determines your comm structure. Amazon is full of millions of products under every niche their is. I have no issues with using them nor accepting their cheques each month. Sure there are other networks / merchants out there but i guess it all comes down to personal preference.
