#1 Rank on Google for Search Term Good?

One of my anime series got #1 position for a particular search term on Google ;)

My question is, how often do these positions change? And is it possible to keep #1 position for a long period of time?

    depends on googles mood lol..
and on the competition for example if they start adding more back links then you do ect..

keep building solid back links and good conent and it will help you keep it as long as possiable.

Its easier to remain on a position than to get a higher one. You just need to focus on the keywords if you see someone else catching you up.

Updating the website occasionally (small and subtle changes)

adding fresh content periodically (once a month is good)

Continuously acquiring in-bound links (1 per week)

Doing this has worked well for me

Congrats band well done. Now the hard work begins in staying there and making the traffic (if any) work for you. Fresh content as often as you can is always looked upon well by Google.

Really depends of the word or phrase you are going after. If you have the top rank for gay weimaraner psychology you probably don't have much to worry about.

If it is a competitive term, it may be a little more difficult.

Thanks for the support guys. And my anime website is very new, so I can easily be taken over at any time.

I just basically run it with friends, just to see if people would appreciate watching free stuff (without ads, because all the other websites out there are too cluttered with them).

I'm actually very bad at SEO and backlink building, and I'm on my own as my friends are clueless on everything to do with SEO.

Heres a tip i've found: Your domain name is very important, so you should focus on using keywords revolved around your domain name to get better search rankings!

@ ksb2050 if you are interested in becoming affiliates and helping a new volunteer site out, then PM me

    Cheers all
