    Hello,

My 2 sites have been published for 4 months in 2 related niches.

    For example,
site 1 like myspace layouts in niche 1,
site 2 like myspace comments in niche 2.

They have a lot of links to each other.

Site 1 is #3 for 2 most competitive keywords in niche 1.
Site 2 is #1 for 2 most competitive keywords in niche 2.

After some changes made for site 2(I want to target more keywords), now it disappeared from Google.

    Can it be sandboxed?

    Thanks!

    What changes have you made?

for example it is normal to rank worst for your original keyword if you added more keywords in your title.

I also heard that you get penalized if you add to many keywords in the alt of images.

Take a look at you code and compare it to Google webmaster guidelines. It might broke one of them!

It's hard to say but what type of changes did you made.

    Perhaps you over optimized?

You will have to provide the URL's, if you don't want to do it publically you can Request a Free SEO Analysis and I will take a look.

Possibly sandboxed, but after such a short period of 4 months, you can't expect to stay at those high rankings. You may have got lucky on the first update, but google has since demoted you... If you can't find your site in the first X pages then it may have been removed due to some sort of violation..

Happened to me several time. Everytime it came back after a few days or so. Sometimes with little less ranking.

You might have used TOO MANY keywords.

    Don't be greedy.

Perhaps the on-page SEO of your site before you changed it may have been better than after the changes. If the only difference here is your on-page changes then have a look at the before & after versions from a search engine/SEO perspective. Also use one of the online tools that simulate what a search engine spider "sees" when it crawls your site/page. You may find a problem or two in your on-site linking.

    Cheers
    Col

interlinking between your sites too much is a bad idea if they are on the same i.p
