Hello guys, there is a few of you who have 1 page sites with some nice info and still get ad clicks. my question is, how do you promote your 1 site page to get traffic. usually 1 page sites have not changing content, especially if its a "how to" page, so how do you promote it? Ed
If they have a one page site they are probably using it for arbitrage so they most likely promote with PPC.
Not always quicksilver. Yes often a one page site is simply a landing page with an opt-in email form. However there are also succesful one page sites simply containing useful information - these can be very successful in the SE's if the niche is a good one.
Few of these one-page sites are using press release, link exchange, article submission, and directory submission to promote their site.
As bondat said, just the same way you'd promote a bigger site. Depends totally what the site is about. But usually directory submissions will get you indexed and ranked in search engines, then just get some exposure through sig links etc
one of the good idea is create one page site on your name , with your general profile , like name ,hobbies, work,mission of life etc etc .. and use words of mouth to spread it , just tell new peoples about your website you come across internet , also post important events,news of your life on this one page site ..
