1 Page Site, or 20 Page Site

I have a really niche site and it currently has 1 page. I believe that if I can drive enough targeted traffic to that 1 page, then it is possible to make a lot of money.

So here is my question:
Do I do my link building and seo to that 1 page?

Or

Do I also build other related pages (20+ pages) on the site and build links to all of those pages as well?


The other pages would be related in subject to the 1 potential profit page, but would not be able to create profit themselves. The reason I am afraid to build the multiple pages, is that I am afraid that my page ranking will decrease, because it might be spread across all of the pages of my site.

What are you thoughts?

 

Go building pages as long as you have unique, relevant content for them.

 

I'd gradually build up pages to the extent that you dominate the keyword. A one page site is unlikely to cut it on the long term.

 

Multiple pages linked back to the home page is the best solution. Just use proper SEOed anchor text and ou will be great.

 

I agree that you should add more pages. A 1 page site looks very spammy to the search engines. Add 20 more pages and even more if possible. You don't need to worry about losing PR or anything like that. Those extra pages will only help.

if your one page site contains really a perfect, helpful content, you do not need anything.

but if i were you, i will try to create new pages that includes photos, videos, etc. then visiters will stay in site a lot then it will effect the site ranking.

 

Depends on the level and quality of the content that you have, but you'll rarely make all that much with just a one-page site.

 

The more pages the better, SERPs def like more pages and unique content.
