1 or 2 hosting accounts?

I am about to buy a new domain and start a new blog, but I am not sure if I should use an existing hosting account or if I should have one hosting account for each domain (meaning 1 for each blog)?

I am not sure if having several blogs on one hosting account could hurt my search engine ranking or not?

    What do you think?

Correct me if I am wrong, but the IP does not make a difference does it?

I think one hosting account is ok for you.

Just use one for sure. Save money and it will be easier to administrate.

I'd recommend going with only one hosting account. If both your blogs are already well established, then you could go with 2 accounts with different ip's.
