    I can vouch that Owlcroft isn't seeing things but I find it's only repeatable on specific PCs and then only for a given time frame. This regularly happens when I do a 'site:domain.com' search to check if new pages have been indexed.

    Just another Google quirk?

    I'm fairly new to SEO but I disagree about on page factors not being important/part of the serps.

    KW rich content has certainly improved my rankings within Google. I can't answer for Yahoo or MSN mind. My links have moved with a very slow pace, and I optimise our site for so many different KW's that I don't concentrate on specific anchor text KW's

    A strange surprise occurred about an hour ago...

    Doing a Yahoo! query for Search Engine Optimization - never having optimized for Yahoo - and never caring to get on Yahoo or ever trying to

    The site suddenly appeared at the bottom of the second page #39 in the past hour - as well as appearing for other terms in the SAME positions they have been holding in Google for the past year!


    But what was REALLY surprising was the sudden appearance at #37 for the term search engines!

    however, these results have not been reflected in MSN SERPs as of it
