I am #1 on google for a keyword with more than 20,000 overture. I got there after alot of effort and im there for more than a week.

but... no one got into my site this week. NO ONE.

What the hell is going on?

Not sure if this is your problem, but once in a while Overture will have a hiccup and report way too many searches for a certain keyword. You could use the DP keyword suggestion tool to compare Overture count to Wordtracker's count to verify it really does get that many searches.

Without knowing the keyword or industry it is pretty hard to say. Additionally, are you up on all of the datacenters at #1 or just a few. That could explain some limited traffic...

Also confirm keyword count from keyword discovery.

I've seen stuff like "how do I eat apples on friday" (example, not real) and similar search terms show high overtures when you know that nobody searches for terms like that with any frequency. I suppose sometimes overture gets spoofed. I always use the DP keyword suggestion tool and make sure the search term ranks high on both.

Thanks for the link I will check it out. Does it give how many times the keyword is searched in a specified month? I will go check.
