Hi guys so I was just wondering what things I should focus on if I want to have say 100 unique visitors a day in 1 month? So far I have been adding my site to a couple of directories every day. Doing a bit of blog commenting and writing at least 1 new post everyday. So far I have not really been sitting down for hours and working on the site. I have just been doing a bit here and there. So if I had 1 month to work on my site for hours on end. What would I do to it? What should I be focusing on. What targets should I be setting myself. What do you guys do every month that makes your sites successful? I want to generate purely search engine traffic as that way I will always have stable traffic. But I want to generate a lot more of it. So how many links per day should I do. How many new articles, how many posts on my forums. etc... Thanks guys.
Other things that you could be doing include building a bigger social network through websites like Facebook, MySpace, Youtube, Digg, Twitter and even here on DP. Having a reliably huge base of people is important to your success just like getting search traffic. Direct traffic converts a lot higher, so be sure that you're adding friends as often as possible and be sure to talk about your website as it develops. I met and friended a girl on Facebook who is solely a network marketer and she has over 3,000 Facebook friends. I personally have over 11,000 friends on Youtube. Your social reach is the foundation of your sales list! I recommend using software to automate the friend adding process as much as possible as it will save you tens of thousands of hours over the lifetime that you own the software versus hand selecting people and sending out invites. I can send out roughly five to seven thousand invites over a weekend, sometimes more on Youtube. Now when I put videos up, I get 3 times the traffic I used to. It's not five, six or seven digit view counts, but if something goes viral from the point of hundreds and thousands, it can easily get to hundreds of thousands and eventually millions. Jason
