Thats about what I make... 1,345,850 page impressions and about 575 bucks in Jan. My site actually runs a business so adsense is not its main purpose but the revenue for this many impressions is disappointing. Their are a couple of reasons...1) People come to my site looking for something and find what they are looking for. 2) 60% of my traffic is return visitors. 3) Despite trying very hard I can't get the type of ads I want to show up and I have to block all my competitors (I really wish G would just let you choose a category of ad types to display so I could display mortgage ads instead of competitor type of ads). 4) My ad placement probably is not the greatest. I have started to put some CJ ads on the site because that way I can have the type of ad that I want displayed.
Hm, maybe it would be better to try pay per view ads? It may not be as profitable though, since the potential gain depends on the the source of your website traffic..
1million pageviews, should yield to a pretty good earning. Fix your placement and blend them in. at 2% CTR that's 20000 clicks, at 4% thats 40,000. My pay per click is HORRIBLE. I get like minimum, 2 cents a click and for about 10k clicks I get 300bucks. you do the math. Just mess around with the design.
I got 1800 impressions and $4,50... That's 1/100 of your earnings and only 1/500 of the impressions. So yours is pretty bad yes
I started this site in the middle of August, so the site is like 5 and a half months old now. Last month the site got over 630,000 unique visitors, and over 1.5 million pageviews. So far this month, the first 2 days of February, the site has over 124,000 unique visitors, and over 300,000 pageviews. Adsense is still ripping me off, but on a good note, I have had contact with 2 web companies wanting me to join their network. They sell ad space for their network sites to Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. Hopefully I can work a deal out. I really want to get in the "business".
Mister Shoemoney gets about $5000 per 400,000 impressions according to his stats, you should be getting about $12500 for your stats as an average. Although it could depend on your niche.
