I was going through my sites stats recently, and since March I noticed that I have had over 1 million hits to my blog. I knew I was getting good traffic from StumbleUpon, but I didn't know it was so much. The main reason for this is that I have over 250 powerful Stumbers who are my "Fans". This means that sites that I stumble are much more likely to go viral. Anyway, there is not much worth promoting on my blog at the moment, so I am looking for other sites and blogs to promote via my Stumbleupon account. If you want me to promote your site/blog via my VERY powerful account, and possibly send 1 million visitors to YOU? Then PM me with your url and I will have a look at your site. nice! SU is a huge traffic source. I had about 10K visitors from there ust because someone posted a link and few others voted for it. Although this traffic is probably the most useless there is
I would prefer 1 million visitors from Digg.com, but i have had many backlinks, many new contacts, many mentions on other sites etc... due to being found on StumbleUpon. I got to top 25,000 Alexa rating at one point as well. I am out of the office at the moment, so when I get in, in the morning, I will reply to all the PM's.
Very Interesting ! I am having some more tips. Just add a stumble up-dig and other bookmarking link in ur blog and ask users to tag it ! U will get more and more visitors !
