I think, that when you will be able to earn 1 million bucks from adsense, you will be able to earn much more money from other source, like affiliate marketing or advertising.
Of course its possible, there are many sites that already have or will generate over $1,000,000 from Adsense. I have a hunch though that the OP isn't going to create a site that makes that much.
If you want to make $1 million dollars a year from Adsense you would need to make $2,740 dollars a day so if your average click is 25 cents you would need almost 11,000 clicks a day. So now all you have to do is get 11,000 clicks a day for one year and you will make a million dollars...lol

It is definately possible. What you need to do is consentrate on boosting your traffic. There are many sites that have made millions on adsense.
If you have a site making 1 million for adsense than you are not using the site to its maximum potential... other forms of revenue..
