1 Million Clickr(Visitors) Before 1st January 2007

I have made a new websites network and my goal is to reach 1 million unique visitors before 1st january 2007.

Tell me the ways to promote?
Today is just start so what to take first step?

I want 1 million visitors before 1st january because i want to purchase a laptop and to celebrate 1st January 2007 with full of joy.

I will update here what's the progress of my goal and hope webmasters, bloggers and promoters will donate some traffic to me.

What i would do is:

1) Link between your sites;
2) Submit a press release
3) Digg your content
4) submit an article to an article directory

One thing bothers me, are you using copyrighted images ? If yes (which obviously is the answer) you could land yourselves in trouble let alone getting one million visitors .....

Get some press releases done

 

Ignore the haters

That's a pretty decent network you have there and pretty creative way of using the content to it's fullest advantage. It's borderline MFA, but still pretty good.

Get backlinks to it. Add them ( or at least the main hub site) to your sig on every forum you are a member at. Trade footer links with other sites. It'll take a while and I definitely don't see you getting a million visitors to it by year's end unless you pay for links on high traffic sites. Which is possible but I don't know your budget

 

I want to say onething here.

DP members are always very cool. I have posted on sitepoint, namepros, v7n and some others and got no response really. You guys are very cool and thanks to you.

I will start threads today in link exchange section. Also now going to ask someone to write a press release but sorry to say my budget is too low

 

Dude there are many FREE press releasing sites, get a good PR writer at dp

 

A Disclaimer won't help you bro .... A better alternative would be to look for pages which offer pics of cars/bikes or whatever is in your network ....
Then email them asking for their permission to use that image, if you link to them or have their watermark on the pic ...

If it's done you can have a good night's sleep ...

I am saying this, since your website is apparently located in the US and therefore has to abide by the US laws .... and anyone filing a DMCA against your site can result in your site getting suspended by your host ....

Don't request the BIG companies to include you somewhere, make yourselves such as they do ... make a PR blog (by PR here I mean Public Relation) and talk to the public .... Comment on others blog ....

Join Young entrepreneurs forum and put forth what you have .... advice ..get advice and you shouldnt have any problem in having good press releases ....

Actually... a disclaimer that states something to the effect of "if you find any images on this site that you believe violate your copyright to the content please contact us at (email or contact page link here) and we will remove the material from our servers completely as quickly as humanly possible."

Any company that sends you a cease and decist actually has to comply. If they ask their lawyer they'll be told the same. They can send the cease and decist if they like still but can't take legal action until you've been given fair warning to take down the image. Most will simply do what the disclaimer says and contact you. ( I know this because I run humor sites)

He's absolutely right. You'd better remove those requests immediately.

That notice works when you're accumulating data and there are chances that copyrighted data is collected accidentally .....

Over here ... 100% of these images are copyrighted .....and there is a likeliness that he has taken a bunch of them from one source .....

Better be safe than sorry .... I know companies who have agreed to let on their images provided a link/watermark is placed ....

 

I collect these images from different humor sites and these images are being used many time on different sites. So i think there's no need to worry. Secondly i will add disclaimer notice.

Anyways, you really need a good designer. The current design isn't gonna get you anywhere. May I suggest myself?

 

I am not selling templates on my web so no need to design it.

imageshack also got very bad design but it's popular.
