Hi there. My website www.farcry2game.info already ranks 16th on google for phrase "farcry 2" but i lack in ranking for the phrases: far cry 2, farcry, far cry. Can you check out my site and see if i need to use mauby different kind of phrases? or mauby only 2 are enough!? Thanks
First off, the site is slow for me. I have DSL and nothing was very quick about it. From what I can tell there is little content on your site. It would help to add content with the keywords your wanting to rank for. Also, you need to start building backlinks to your site. I found none. Use the keywords you want to rank for as anchor text. Also, don't forget to use keywords for the "title" section of the backlink URL. TxDon
Thanks but no thanks. I don't want to sound unthankful and mean but first off its either your internet connection or well your connection. There is very little content on the first "PAGE" beacose the site is new and the game that it covers has been announced just 1 month ago. Speaking of content i have all game information on the other "PAGES" and not on the MAIN PAGE so in your face. Pagerank - site is 7 days old and its been launched only 3 days ago so ofcourse there is no backlinks. So please next time you wana help some1 either check the site in details and speak of it or don't try to help at all. Furthermore you did not answer my question about keywords, i'm not asking about review, already done that i'm asking about my keywords and only my keywords.
At the moment, you're most likely ranking higher for FarCry2 because your domain name has the word FarCry2 in it, so that will help get that combined word phrase ranked higher...Since your site is so new, and there appears to be fairly good competition for the terms with Far Cry, Google isn't giving your site much weight probably because you don't have many backlinks. If you can get some backlinks with anchor text using Far Cry, Far Cry 2, etc. then your site will build come credibility with the SE's and it should begin to rank higher. Make sure you keep using Far Cry and the variations in your page content. It's only a week old, this stuff takes time.. You'll get there. Good luck.
