DP Members, I started a thread in DP and got the #1 spot in Google in just 15 Hours. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=813474 SERP Position in Google, Keywords #1 - Another Free Submission #1 - Take Another Free Submission #1 - Free Submission for 800 #1 - Submission for 800 #1 - 800 directories try it #6 - submission try it #1 - free submission try it I need better explanation from SEO Experts here...
search google for the thread title of any RECENT dp thread example "best way to increase pr" and db is #1
it's not a such a big thing u r getting benefit of DP popularity. And second the keywords u are targeting are not popular has very low competition. So not a big NEWS.
This is not news... And those are not great keywords either. Either way good job you found out what everyone else knew so far.
Now I have to ask about this, the spamming of 1on40 had died a natural death i thought - have you seen any results form 1on40? Please tell me, what exactly has it done to improve your rankings? Anything? Anything at all? (Oh - and I'll echo the others in this thread - google the title of ANY thread in dp - it'll be no 1 in about 15 minutes, not 15 hours.)
There are usually daily this kind of thread posted on DP, Google loves DP discussion, will give u in top positions some times in just 10 minutes only Nothing new.
I've never understood this, but it is true. But I don't understand it because many of the threads here are not always of the highest quality - so why does Google think they are?
nothing to to with quality, it's pagerank and freshness. go and try and do it in a PR2 forum so quickly. you can show up but you rarely get a strong number one and rarely so quickly. edit. just searched ** another free submission ** and because you linked to the first thread from this one theyre now associated with each other in the serp.
It's not real hard with Google giving a boost to fresh documents, i have been experimenting with a way that's bringing 500-1500 visits in the first 24 hours after publishing content. The first visitors are actually hitting the page 5 minutes after publication.
Google love new content and therefore rank new pages high up in the search results. This is the New Content Boost, but such boost is only temporary, these new pages drop in search results after some time.
"#1" in the search engines is awesome if it's for a competitive keyword. #1 for a noncompetitive keyword is meaningless. I ranked #1 for my first and last name from the beginning of my website. The only problem is: nobody searches for my first and last name!
