#1 for Position Bid Directory?

    i have been #1 on Google for the term Position Bid Directory for my site DirecBid for a few months now,but is this position effective for the keyword?I get some organic traffic but wondering how i can rank well for other terms as well..thanks for the input

    Traffic is everything. You can rank well for a ton of keywords, but if they don't deliver any traffic, its worthless.

    I would simply optimize for high-traffic yielding keywords. To see which keywords are popular, do a search on Overture.

    I assume it's current; there may be a delay of a month or two. I've been using the one at GII.in: http://www.gii.in/tools/keyword_suggestion/

    Overture only measures the searches done on Yahoo, so I just multiply by 2 to get an estimate of Google's searches.
