    Open a copy of WRITE.EXE or WORDPAD.EXE and copy special characters into the blank document. Save that to your Desktop with a distinctive .rtf name (i. e. SpecChar.RFT ?) and keep it where it is easily in reach when composing. Each time you need a SpecChar that's not available through "ALT+ whatever" you can find it quickly there. As you come up with other needs, add them to that RTF document.
