I currently have three modestly competitive keywords at #1 in Google (ten KWs in the top three spots). Traffic is good, with about 75,000 unique visitors a month to the website.

But I'm making zero dollars for all that work!

Oops, I forgot to mention, it's a nonprofit site. :D

P.S. Getting serious again, the main point is that high rankings on Google's first page are bringing lots of traffic. For most of the DPers' for-profit sites, that should translate into $$.

Very nice. You should probably try to make some money off of it =P.

My site is about 2 months old and I get about 1000-2000 uniques a day. Sometimes I randomly get 15000+ uniques here and there. I just rank for low competitive keywords right now and just build my sites popularity until I can be popular enough to rank high in my competitive ones. My technique is doing wonders for me though. My unique average rises every day.

When I do begin to make a lot of money off of my site, I plan on starting food banks and stuff around Michigan because my state is really crappy right now. I also plan on buying repossessed houses and selling them for rent to buy at 100$ a month rent to help families out. I have a lot in mind to help the low income families around here. I have a lot more in mind also.

I don't think anyone would chose any other rank other than rank 1, if given the choice.
