1 Digg-ed page gets your website fully indexed in less than an hour?!?!

    Right,
i haven't touched websites and seo and for over a year until earlier today. Last time i started a website in 2007 i remember it took at least 4 days to get all your pages properly indexed in Google. and that was after placing a sig link on DP and digging and stumbling all pages.

Then today i start a new website with new domain name, Digg one page (not even the main page) and see my website fully indexed and apearing in serps in less than an hour. Without any stumbling or signature links. More than that, one of my keywords went straight onto the second page in serps. I quite liked that lol

So have i just been extremely lucky and caught the google bot in the middle or indexing diggs' pages or thats how quickly it normally works now?

I mean a perfectly optimized website and 1 single digg can get you google traffic almost instantly if you have done your homework on researching keywords properly???

    other people's experiences?

yes, popular social sites or social bookmarking submissions can get yor site indexed quickly. sometimes in as little as 10 minutes or less. however, your SERP ranking based on Digg submission might not last for long if it is only based on digg submission

You can also use mixx and buzzflash for quick indexing. These social bookmarkings are indexing in minutes including digg, mixx, buzzflash and stumbleupon.
