I never really got into affiliate marketing. I signed up for a CJ account ages ago, but I just put a few links up and then let it go dormant. Enter my wife... She wants banners. . I get around to re-activating my cj account (seriously, it just took a phone call. Not sure what all the fuss is about). I looked around at a few programs and then harassed someone into signing up. Looks like it worked. $15 for the trouble of harassing a friend. You can't do it all the time, but don't ignore your human network.
Pretty much, yep. But hey, it paid about 65 times better than an adsense ad and all it took was a quick instant messenger chat.
^^ Imagine the return And I agree, it would be better to use CJ then AdSense IMO, only because with CJ you can get more money first off and second, with AdSense, you only get paid a little bit for a click and you need $100 to cashout.
Just join up at commission junction. This particular click is from box.net - $15 if you get people to sign up for a free trial. The downside is that in order to sign up for a free trial you have to hand over a credit card number. Affiliate marketing is much different because you can actively play a role. (As opposed to adsense, where I actively tell my friends not to click ads just to help me out).
yeah, affiliate marketing is nice, I'm new to affiliate marketing but i've already made $135 so far from starting in mid july... i havent really put much effort in either, just cloaked a link of mine and set it up on adcenter for napster... most days i make about $10 spend about $2.. some days are better with $20-$30.. I can't wait to see how much i earn once i start putting alot of effort in
This is basically what all the "get a free prize" sites are doing. They recommend that once somebody signs up for a free trial that if the registree wanted to, they automatically cancel a few days after the publisher has been credit by the advertiser. I am going to try and get into it, I want to read a How To guide first and get the 411
I assume this is like an affiliate scheme? Do you have to get them to sign up using a referral URL so that you get paid, if so how do I find it?
congartulation for u i wish they bought somehing in my cj site , way cj so dificult for earning money ???
Just a heads up, most affiliates TOS says that family and FRIENDS are not eligible to buy/register through your links. It's so hard to define a "friend" though, especially if they aren't on your IP address. I just wouldn't run around telling the internet about it, CJ reps DEFINITELY look over digitalpoint. Congrats on the easy 15 though.
