i would look to see what site it came from and would check to see what type of ads show up on that site. then you will have to mess with your content and try to nerrow down which ones pay close to that.
thanks for the fast responses. I only have one site. So what you saying is i need to create a channel. Are are they installed automatically when you sign up for adsense? I'm a newbie so sorry if this is common knowledge
If you only have one site then you know what ads are displaying on your site. What you might like to track down is what page on your site got you that click, and what adverts were displaying there. You can do this by setting up channels in adsense, basically they allow you to give names to your adverts which will then allow you to know which page is giving you the big ticket clicks.
Adsense tracker is good for that purpose. and also use different channels when you make different codes for all your different websites.
ok so one other newbie question. I only have one blog at the moment. I am looking to create another one very soon. How would i transfer my ads on the second blog. Do I create another account or isn't that illegal?
My highest click ever was US$ 2.54 and i never saw that gaian in my Adsense Career till now. I wish that we do have such clicks every day and Happy Earnings
Hello Manager, You do not need to transfer ads from one site to another. With Adsense all you need to do is create another ad in Adsense Setup. The new ad will contain you publisher account number, just like your first. I doesn't matter how many websites contain you ads, as long as you create them while logged into adsense with your credentials the ad click will post to your account. Let me add that, I highly recommend that your create a channel for each of your websites. Create the new channel first and then you can select the appropriate channel during the setup process. This way you will know where your clicks are coming from. Good Luck, Glenn
Creating another account is not allowed. You have to use the same account for all your site. You can even put the same ad in all your sites, but it is recommended that you create a new ad with new ad channel for your different sites.
do you mean you want to know what keywords generated that ad? it'll be difficult to find out, but if you're looking to see which ad placement you got the click from you should use channels...
