just browsing my adsense yesterday and took a screenshot of this.. before anyone asks, i didn't click my own ads.. pretty funny but at the same time not funny
so you're saying if a click is worth a cent or two, adsense get 100% of that? they'd violate their own TOS in that case

Sometimes it takes a while for Google to calculate your total earnings/click ratio. It's kind of hard to understand if I explained it, but it happened to me a lot. Wait for about a day and you'll notice that you suddenly get more earnings than when you checked it earlier, even though you had no extra clicks.
I had one of those yesterday too, and on a site where clicks usually bring reasonably close to $1 at least, and also where I've never seen a PSA ad.
Too much time? what's that? They just noticed what looked like a discrepency in the numbers... that's all. I had a similar one that doesn't make sense for the particular site. Not worth stressing about it though. Is it possible to have an invalid click if it wasn't you clicking your own ads (sorry for the ignorance... I'm still not completely used to adsense). If so, that might explain the problem for both of us. Well that, or Google is evil. haha
Discrepancy? What the heck is going on Google! This shouldn't be 1 click, it should be 0! Great, now my accounting is all thrown off.
In the early mornings my account frequently shows 0 clicks, but earnings of like $.01-$.30 So I'm getting paid for what exactly? Just being me I guess Then there are times when it'll show 7 clicks at $1.13, then some time later show 7 clicks at $1.98... I don't worry about it too much, I just let Google do whatever they're doing and then collect the money
lol Smartass. slipxaway, isn't that sometimes b/c some advertisers pay for impressions instead of clicks? I see it a lot too, but like I said, I'm pretty ignorant about a lot with adsense, so I could be completely wrong.
Then there are those days when I get 30 clicks and make $3 and other days when I get 8 clicks and make $4, yet the ads shown on my site are extremely consistent, so I'm not sure how that works either. Jhmattern: it may be from impressions, I'm not sure. Google doesn't really offer a lot in the way of reporting I think they should show earning reports for individual clicks, so I can block access to the low paying ads
