1 cents for 1 click?

    First of all, hello everyone!

I have a website, you can say it is a brand new site (around 4-5 months old) and targeted not for US/UK or any "major" countries (adsense point of view). Now for each click that I receive I only earn 1 cent. Is that true that adsense will sandbox my website until a period of time (resulting my earning to be THAT LOW) ?

I've tried to use adsblacklist to filter low-paying ads but with no good or improving results.

Do you have any suggestions or do I have to still wait for some period of time so that my website is out from the sandbox (if that's true). Thank you!

I don't think that's the problem. The website is properly Indexed by Google, Yahoo, and MSN (even though it doesn't have pagerank yet).

It's kinda craigslist in a way. The server is in USA, but the market is Indonesia. Niche, location, or market problem?

My ads are definitely low-paying because the target market (Serbia) has far less competition. Any ads pointing to sites in Serbia are bound to be low-paying. Hmmm, there's a thought - block the whole .yu domain - is that even possible via Competitive Ad Filter?

That is because your traffic is from indonesia like you said... I think advertisers don't pay much for that traffic, test something else than adsense if you have high traffic (test CPM etc...).

Will do. Thanks. Is there any Indonesian publisher here? Are you sharing the same problem as mine?

ummm, I had days when it was 8 clicks = 5 cents !

Go figure, and if you say that it might be invalid clicks, invalid clicks would not appear there. It's going downwards on freebie websites.

I wish we could break clicks down by countries, but they will never do it, obviously.

I had 3 clicks for 1 cent. Adsense revenues perform bad lately. For me at least. And I don't know why.

Wow, there are actually clicks that cost less than 1 cent? That sounds so unfair. The thing is I also use google adwords and pay at least 10 cents per click, yet I only earn 1 cent/click. Sad, eh?

Lately, my adsense sites also have clicks for lesser than 1 cent (10 clicks for 0.08) It seems that the cost per click is going down.

yes.....thats how I think as well, google is really greedy. When I used adwords for keywords about lyrics and greeting cards, they were in the range of 15-40 pences.....thats 30-80 cents, I dont know how the hell you can get a click for less than one cent, even if its from 3rd world countries.
