1 cent clicks on celebrities niche

Hi my cpc has dropping since december from 5 cent to 3 cent to 2 cent and now to 1 cent. Is any other publisher experiencing the same thing.

 

Hopefully things will turn around soon.

 

well just good to hear other publishers are experiencing the same thing. it means if the economy stabilises, our earnings will turn to normal. i was actually thinking of selling my site for a low price but i guess there is nothing wrong with it.

 

I'm experiencing the same situation aswell... my Indian celeb site is currently making less than a cent per click..
yesterday I made about 1.2 dollar for 140 clicks or so..

 

My celebrity earn $1.7 by 9 clicks

 

Yeah.. Entire entertainment niche is over saturated and thus resulting in low EPC.

 

who says entertainment is profitable niche?

 

its not profitable, but in volume it will..try to find niche that are not saturated..

 

I to experience the same in decemeberwas getting a average of 5 to 7 cents a click then to a penny on 25,000 impressions. Got smart priced it seems so i looked elsewere. Started adding adbritethe first 2 weeks in febuary I had the site split in half. The 2 weeks gave me with adbrite was 89dollars adsense 19 dollars. So I redid the whole site with adbrite I made was 163 dollars for febuary with adbrite it had always took 2 months with adsense to hit a 100 dollars. I ony left the link unit of adsense on the site. Very pleased with adbrite. Have i mentioned that google is not god and google and adsense sucks.

 

celebrities niche is low pay niche, i affraid to say you will get only few cent per click

 

Yep, my clicks are pretty lame for the celebrity niche. There are definitely a few keywords that you can raise the value upto around $0.50, but they are quite generic and will be dominated by all the magz, tabloid sites etc.
