To get anchor text links with the specific keywords to my site, I'm thinking about having many blogs. For example, I'll have 7 blogs using blogspot or something and update 1 blog a day, (meaning 1 blog update once a week) instead of having 1 blog and updating it everyday.... Do you think it works? I mean, if I make many blogs it is difficult to make all of them good quality. But I can get many text anchor links from the blogs. If I make 1 good quality blog (and put a link to my main site of course) then google would think it's a better quality link but it's only 1 link (as opposed to 7 links). The 7 links from the 7 blogs will probably not be of good quality but at least they will come from the related topic blogs. Which is better do you think? Thanks
your best practice should be testing all of the combination and make some analysis with your type of actions above,for me I use blog commenting.yahoo answer and Mahalo questions to get a link back without I have to build from the scratch
if you have own company blog on your website then you should promote that first. And if you want you can create blogs in some of the most effective and popular sites like blogspot.com, wordpress.com etc..
In my opinion you should ave more blogs to promote your site. But make sure that you have good seo values for the blogs used for promotion. Over time, your aim should be to see the number of blogs linking to your website increase. If other webmasters are promoting your website for you, then you know you're on the right track. The more links you have coming back to your website, the more visitors you should receive. For example, if you had 10 blogs linking back to your website and each gave you one visitor per day. That is 100 visitors you'd have otherwise missed. It's really only a numbers game!
best thing to do, enjoy and improve your first blog. If you think you've done enough and have seen the results in optimizing the blog, then it's the time you expand and try to add more blogs...
