Right now i have 1 AdSense ad on my inner pages and i am getting around 0,50 euro per click. (sometimes more ~ 1,5 euro , and sometimes less) What will happen if i put 2 or 3 ads? Will it affect my cost per click ?
Maybe...it may also make the page look "spammy" and turn visitors away. I know if I see a site with ads plastered all over it, I usually back-arrow out of there. Sometimes more is less.
That is why i still use only 1 ad on my pages, but i need to know if this will reduce cost per click if i decide to add second AdSense ad
Adsense is based on a bidding system and more ads means you increase the chances of lower paying ads being displayed. Depending on your layout, this may be offset by more clicks. You should experiment with it and track the results. There is no way to know without trying it.
I almost always found 2 ads the best for most sites. I think 3 can look very spammy unless they are added correctly and blended. Usually just two large rectangles side by side above the fold. In some cases it looked spammy but CTR was usually the best. There are some sites I just would not put adsense on.
Number of ads usually will not effect your Cost Per Click. But.. There is chance to get a decrease in your number of visitors due to crush of ads. Beware of it
It all depend how you blend your ads according to theme. The more suited the themes would be for ads the better. Honestly speaking adsense ads dont scare users (mostly , pop up and over lying ads are very disturbing compare to adsesne.
You can use atmost 3 ads on a page and the visitors clicking on it depends mainly on where it is placed
If you use 3 ads on the page in proper manner, you can really get good results from that, but placement should be done properly. This is very important.
