i am currently setting up a company that will be ran over the internet mostly i am posting this thread to see how toll free numbers have helped you. i am looking for as much information as possible so poor it out. thanks again premium beaches llc
I had a small offline business and we added a 800 number because our coverage area was wide spread. We shut it down because people were calling it by mistake quite a bit and our customers were using it for useless questions that ran up our bill. When we switched to just the local number, our business did not lose any customers but it did cut down on phone charges and useless phone calls.
When you get your number assigned, do a search to see who may have had it before you. We got one that was for an insurance company and we got calls, all hours of the day for months before we had to get another number. If it was used before, and it is widely known or published, I would suggest asking your carrier to re-assign you another number. WAIT until you have done your research before printing or publishing your new number.
I feel that yall know alot did you have an automated teller pick up or did you have it transfer to your cell phone or work phone...?
They have worked out nicely for me. I set it up with kall8.com and would change it to ring to either my home phone or cell phone depending on where I was. It is inexpensive. Jessica
