We already come to that conclusion in previous threads, DMOZ is not for webmasters, DMOZ is not for surfers, DMOZ is only something for editors to play with. :p

That would seem like the most valid answer. You've been given suggestions and you scoffed at them. Maybe just move on to bigger and better directories...

    very true. :(
One thing that's (very) wrong with DMOZ is that a single editor is given too much privileges/power.

    You keep missing the point:
    1. You admitted submitting again and again and again which was against the guidelines you agreed to when you submitted. How do you think any directory (DMOZ or other) should treat you after you deliberately flouted the policies you agreed to.
    2. There is already a website listed that looks like yours; has the same information as yours; has some of the same contact details as yours - DMOZ does not care its owned by your brother, its simply not going to list two websites providing the same information. It appears you are trying to scam DMOZ to get multiple listing for the hotels you are associated with.

DMOZ is not a listing service for webmasters, so yes :

But i did it because there is not a list status or even a single e-mail send to tell you are not geting to the directory for the folowing reasons! You dont think that it have to be a site submision status?i post a thread in the open source forum about that and the webmaster deleted immediately!!

IF YOU ARE AN EDITOR i can provide you that all this things you say its been done in this category by someone else and it is listed!!!!!And i believe that it was the right thing the editor did!

Which 'single editor' is given too much? heh, if anything the average editor does not have enough freedoms, and at times it's rather difficult to get more. There is a hierarchy there, and it's stricter then many other places, so most editors do not have too much power. Some may, but then, that's not the norm...

Average editor has only one privilege - to get removed without a chance to defend himself of BS charges falsified against him.

OTOH metas aren't answerable to anyone since community is powerless and can do whatever they want.
