Well he sent out an e-mail saying that there was a problem and some data was lost so he hasn't totally bailed.

Plus he's only been inactive for one day, it might be too soon to jump to conclusions. Some people have taken a few days to pay me due to unexpected circumstances..

I Just got a Message from one of the user have finished some job and ....

Does it make any sense at all? Please let me tell you that i have no affiliation or relation with OP or this Website. I was just much curious because of the title of the thread "$1,250 for Posting on MoneyRiot.com - $0.50 per post!". Most of the cases, For posting we got paid .08$ to 0.15$. But this offer is very much high indeed. So i was with this thread to ensure that you got paid. Once you got paid, I also would love to post something and get few bucks. If you think You got scammed just make some common sense. But make sure you are making the right decision.
I am really frustrated now. I am out of this thread.Good luck each and every one to get paid off.

This morning, I got this email from "Brad", an administrator at MoneyRiot.com.

Subject: Were you told you'd be paid for posting at MoneyRiot.com?
    Message:
please go to this thread ASAP:

    http://www.moneyriot.com/were-you-told-youʹd-be-paid-to-post-here--t643.html

At that url, there is this message from "Brad".

Were you told you'd be paid to post here?

Backstory: About two weeks ago I was on the trolly car in new orleans with a buddy of mine who is a great business owner, but hasn't ventured into the onine world as of yet. Whilst I've got experience with blogs and other websites, I've never taken the jump into running a foru,.
My friend and I were talking about creating a forum that covers the topics that this one does. We thought it'd be fun to make and I told him I could drive some traffic to it from my financial blogs. He stopped me there and asked how to get users to join empty forums. It was about this time when a hispanic male, who went by the name Jose Garcia, sitting behind us said that for a small fee he'd be able to drive legit traffic with real users posting away. He left me his e-mail address and that was that.
Last week I e-mailed him asking what his rates were and what I'd get from it. He said if I sent him $250 western union he'd have me 300+ members with 5,000+ posts. I gladly sent him the money, gave him DNS control of my domain, and FTP access to install forums and get started. This morning he e-mailed me the admin username and password (this one i'm on now).

After logging into this account for the first time, there were 6 private messages that confused me; Users looking to get paid for posting here? After a few PM's, one user gave me his phone number and walked me through all of the bogus threads that Mr. Garcia had started. I cannot believe how I got scammed, and by association I am responsible for all of you getting scammed. Additionally, said friend who was on the trolly car with me got scammed as well as Mr. Garcia said he could help him get started by making websites for his bakeries in New Orleans and Shrevceport.

Please note that I would love to resolve this for you guys s I do not want my new domain and internet forums to be associated with such a negative connotation. I do not have thousands of dollars though. I've been emailing Jose all morning. I do not have a phone number or address for him unfortunately. If anyone has been scammed by a hispanic male in the southeastern Louisiana area please PM me ASAP.

Please reply to this thread with ideas on how I can work this out with you guys. I am in the right mind to track Mr. Garcia down, take him to court, and force him to pay you guys, along with damages owed to me for potentially ruining my new creation.

Please post here what it'll take to make things right while I track this imbecile down. I am truly sorry and am working, along with my friend, to find this animal and make things right!

    Then "Brad" the businessman says:

Re: Were you told you'd be paid to post here?
update: by taking my password i gave him for ftp, he was able to post on digitalpoint forums under my username as well as log into my email address

OTHER THAN DIGITALPOINT, PLEASE LET ME KNOW HOW JOSE FOUND YOU AND TOLD YOU HE'D PAY YOU TO POST HERE?

also, does anyone know about western union? how can i get my money back from him? i cant find anything on their site about filing a dispute

    "Brad" also says:

Re: Were you told you'd be paid to post here?
    To answer a few questions.

    1. Yes I sent him the money via Western Union a while back.

    2. I had nothing to do with the 15% offer. Although he e-mailed me information on how to use the forums, moneyriot email, and other various items he installed and setup, he was still emailing under my address. He went so far as to use my moneyriot email address and my host's SMTP server to spam a bulk mail list

    3. I would love to pay you guys, but it's just not in my budget to do so at the moment.

    4. Monday morning I've got a meeting with a company in New Orleans who does private investigating, bounty hunting, debt collection, repo, and everything in between. It'll cost me $150 up front to get started and then 12% of what they collect from him. Hopefully they're good enough to find him by his IP

    5. He probably took my money and decided to promote the for me in a shady way thinking that I'd never catch on and would send him more money later on for future projects. Think about it, had he not used this admin account and my email address, I never wouldve noticed the private messages or email replies, and I never would've caught on.
Hell, I just planned on paying a few people to be moderators while I sat back and worked the traffic and advertising income. I never would've noticed anything if, like I said, it weren't for the emails and private messages.

What I can do for you:

It's just not morally right for me to be making a profit from advertising income since most of the content here was based on a lie. Please, using the format below, give me information about a website or affiliate link you'd like to promote. I'll strip every single ad from this site and make all of your links into their own individual ad, and then place every ad into rotation so that you can hopefully start getting something back whilst I wait on this Private I. to get things taken care of.

    My Reply:

This is a stupid story. I do not have an url to promote so I would like you to remove all my posts. I posted under the registered names:

    moneyhoney
    dollarsigns
    freakydeeky

Remove my posts and I can be done with this mess. You stand to make money from all these posts and since you are not interested in compensating anyone for their work, no matter if you will profit from the work, then I am not interested in having my work on your site. I do not care how my work appeared on your site, my work has been ripped off from me and I do not want it on your site where, ultimately, you will profit from it.

Remove all my posts or you owe me for profiting from my work. It does not matter how my work got on your page, it is on your page without my permission and you do not mean to pay for it.

    Again, remove all my posts.

    Wow..

Also, everyone knows Western Union money can't be reserved. So even if he did get legitimately scammed, that money has been lost.

So, I have made three requests to Brad to remove my work from his forum. This is his reply:

"How are they here without your permission when you came here and posted them? Nobody forced you to post them. Additionally, nobody came here and copied your ©posts from another source."

    Nice guy, huh?

Here is my reply to Brad to his claim that I posted of my own free will.

The only reason that I posted here is for the money, I do not give my work away for free. I believed that I would be paid for my posts and that is why I posted. If I wanted to post for free, I would never have responded to that DP ad as I did. I answered with a post in the forum at DP, which proves that I was only posting in your forum for the money and not for free. That claim of payment was a falsehood so therefore I want my work removed since no payment has been made.

I am not giving my posts to you for free. You are not paying for my work so remove my work. You do not have permission to have my work on your site unless you plan on paying me immediately.

Remove my posts under the name of:

I went to visit this site and found a very frustrated post by what seems to be the owner warning people of a scam. Check it out carefully. I'm out.

As long as people are greedy they will get scammed. How can anyone pay $.50 a post, I have a forum and hire people to post there so I know how much you can earn from a forum and what you can spend on it....lolz
