1.2 millions backlinks question

    1.2 millions backlinks from one single website (it's about a forum , that got many web pages indexed, and that also got a dictionary on it, and an article directory) are having the same value as only 1 backlink from that website?! Or like only 20-30 backlinks?!

    imo backlinks would be quite on each page because search engines treat web pages not websites :)

    i wouldn't bank on that. it seems there is a limit to the # of links from a single domain that have benefit. Beyond that they seem to start taking away from the benefit. Probably on some sort of bell curve.

    The exact number is not known, but but a large number of links coming from a single domain will be buffered in terms of the benefit you receive.
