this is pretty impressive for three months

usually sites have a bit of trouble getting the forums started, but it certainly doesn't look like it was the case here

Well, I had the distinct advantage of being able to leverage tens of thousands of unique visitors per day to digitalpoint.com before the forum started. :)

but even so, when there's 1 or maybe 2 posts in a forum, it doesn't seem very attractive for potential new members, usually.

even with the traffic, it's impressive that it took off so quickly.

where does most of the traffic come from? the free tools?

That's how I found the forum. I think I was one of the "early" members around here. I remember a time when hitting the "New Posts" button would bring back less than one page of results :)

Shawn, where do I fall in the members list? Was I one of the first 100 to sign up by any chance?

DigitalPoint, did you find yourself adding a lot of articles with no responses in the beginning, or did it just take off on its own?

    You're number 36.

Looks like the main forum page now has a PR of 5.
