1,000 posts, 1 year - My Internet Marketing Story.

That was an awesome story. I needed that , when I was thinking about slouching off the weekend.

But doing all that in just 4 hrs a day..you seem to have mastered the 4 hour work day

it can indeed drive you insane... However, I think that IM has become another passion of mine, so I actually enjoy creating new content every day

Awesome man, thanks for the inspirational story. I too would love to make a bit of extra income online, so I've started bum marketing and have set up a niche site. Hopefully my income will grow with time, I think bum marketing is a long-term thing rather than PPC which is instant (but risky).

Well it's not just that. Adwords works out as long as you put money in it, but the articles will bring you sales for years to come That's the big difference.

 

Do you treat PPC and bum marketing traffic equaly? What I mean is do you send PPC traffic to the same sort of landing pages as you do with your articles on EA?

 

Congrats Alex, I started about the same time as you. But I gave up a while back even though I do still make a little extra cash from my efforts months ago. After reading your story, you have re-motivated me to get started back. If you don't mind me asking how much do you figure you have profited in the last year?

 

Alex, you have always been an IM star in my eyes, I know your writings have pushed me forward to where today I make more money than I would care to share on this forum... It takes time and hard work when you start out and you have to continue day after day even when your exhausted ...

Great story Alex, and congrats on your success. This should get some people inspired to jump in, if they haven't already.

 

Really motivating , I do agree there is a lot of work involved in affiliate marketing, but learning it the smart way will sure pay later. I am satisfied with amazon so far, the commissions are a little low, if you promote cheap products you might end giving up, but overall its great.

Can you believe you've left over 1000 footprints here now? Even I tend to hate on DP quite a bit here and there but overall I've been here for just over a year now as well and it's funny how fast you climb the ranks when you approach IM with caution vs. some that have like 23K posts and still can't bank... Hats off to you mate - this year is going to be a big one for you.

Awesome! I'm also completing this story. I discovered the real industry of Internet Marketing, more specifically keywords and organic traffic. 3 months ago I lost my job, and right about now I'm on my way to having a $1000+ month with a very successful blog that my girlfriend and I run.

Yay Internet! oh yeah, I'm 27 so it's not a bad time for me to get into this either.. still young, but old enough to know whats what.

 

Awesome... I'm still looking for my first sale, an inspirational story is always good!
