So, I have launched an article writing contest on my site. The contest went live a few weeks ago. So far I have 5 entries! Only 5!! ZERO entries from DP forum members. The good news for you is that you currently have a 1 in 5 chance to win $1,000. If you ask me the odds are not bad at all. Do me a favor and at least take a look at the contest. Time is running out. Article Writing Contest
ok, just submitted an article, by the way, have signed in your forum too, and cannot post. account limited access, so cannot ask questions. one thing, if my article was denied as an entry, can I have it back with full rights , meaning you cannot post it on your site. just asking
Yes, if your article is denied it will be sent back to you as is. I will not use post it unless you ask me to (and posting would not constitute acceptance.). There are very few reasons why an entry would be denied though. The topic is open to almost anything and there are no restrictions. Thanks for the forum issue notice. I'll fix it ASAP
I must say this is a great guy, I have been in email contact and he has really helped my and inspired me to setup my own blog. Thanks, jwatsonl and I'm glad to see that my articles are getting good results! Submitted another just now. -Hecky
Then, as per the rules, the article is published on the site. That's the entire point of the contest. You have the chance at the $1,000 and I get the content.
Sounds great catyack! Foxlore: The only thing I have to say about that is "you must have copywrite rights and the entry cannot be published elsewhere on the internet or in print". I think however, that the spirit of the contest is to have you write the entry. So far I have about 10 entries leaving this a 1 in 10 chance at $1,000. I would jump at a chance to win if I could Come on everyone else, get your entry in. Here are the entries so far: * The Best Signature Tutorial Around Today * What Happens When You Boil Water in Space? * How To Start an Internet Radio Station * Make Money On The Internet * Angelina Jolie Having Some Crazy Moments * Why Spammers Love Social Media Websites * Easter Island - What Happened? * Everything You Wanted To Know About Content But Were Afraid To Ask * 10 Reasons Why Digg is the Best Site on the Internet * Top Reasons Why a Lesbian Must Be Thin
Hmm looking at one article, top 10 reasons why digg is so great, isn't really a proper entry, I mean people who like digg are just going to see that and digg it. No proper content.
