I get something like that too. Its impression ad revenue from adsense ads being on the Digital Point forums.

 

I only see that with the profit sharing accounts like DP, never with my own sites.

 

Everyday Shawn draws a radnom number and that is the amount he decides to pay a random member from his own adsense earnings. I heard one time someone got paid $1,000

We get directly 50% of what DP gets.

There is nothing Random here.

 

I will try to find the thread where Shawn says everyday he gives a random member a random about of money. It's really cool of him.

What happens is when a person starts a thread, 50% of the times that thread is read, the adsense banner on that page is displayed with the code of the thread starter.

Atleast thats my reading.

I sure was (that happened almost a year ago now). I did spend it well -- I was able to renew my best ranking domain till 2048.

 

I got a 26 cent click from DP yesterday

 

Cool.. I haven't received any clicks but I've got a lot of days that I've gotten a few cents for page impressions.

I only get credit for page impressions on profit sharing sites like DP, I'm listed on two of them. I never receive that on my own sites even when I get far more impressions. I haven't found anything at Google that makes it so I can choose one or the other.

Anyone know why we get payment for impressions on DP? I'd like to get that for my own sites too.
